This Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to Daila's paid subscription plan (Pro). All payments are processed through Paddle.com, which acts as the Merchant of Record. This policy complies with the Korean Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, the EU Consumer Rights Directive, and the Content User Protection Guidelines.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us at shickcoong777@gmail.com. Upon cancellation: (a) You will retain access to Pro features until the end of your current billing period. (b) No further charges will be made after the current billing period ends. (c) Your account will automatically revert to the Free plan at the end of the billing period. (d) Your saved content and data will be preserved and remain accessible under the Free plan.
You have the right to withdraw from your subscription and receive a full refund, without providing any reason, within the following periods: Korean users: Within 7 days of the initial purchase date or the most recent auto-renewal date, in accordance with Article 17 of the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce. EU/UK users: Within 14 days of the initial purchase date or the most recent auto-renewal date, in accordance with the EU Consumer Rights Directive. All other users: Within 7 days of the initial purchase date or the most recent auto-renewal date. To exercise your right of withdrawal, contact us at shickcoong777@gmail.com with your account email and a statement that you wish to withdraw. No specific form is required. Note: As the Service is a "divisible service" (ongoing subscription), even after the withdrawal period has expired, you may still be eligible for a pro-rata refund for the unused portion of your subscription (see Section 3).
If the withdrawal period specified in Section 2 has expired, you may still request cancellation and receive a pro-rata refund for the unused portion of your current billing period. The refund amount is calculated using the following formula: Refund = Payment Amount - (Payment Amount / Total Days in Billing Period x Days Used) Example: If you paid $5 for a monthly subscription and request cancellation after 10 days of a 30-day billing period: Refund = $5 - ($5 / 30 x 10) = $3.33 For annual subscriptions, the used portion may be calculated at the standard monthly rate ($5/month) multiplied by the number of full months used, with the remainder refunded. Pro-rata refunds are available upon request and are not automatic.
Daila subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period. We will take the following measures regarding auto-renewal: (a) Pre-renewal notice: We will send you a notification at least 7 days before each auto-renewal date, informing you of the renewal date, amount to be charged, and payment method. (b) Price increase consent: If the subscription price increases, we will obtain your explicit consent at least 30 days before the new price takes effect. If you do not consent, your subscription will not renew at the new price. (c) Cancellation method disclosure: Each renewal notice will include clear instructions on how to cancel. Refund for auto-renewal charges: - If we fail to send the pre-renewal notice, you are entitled to a full refund of the renewal charge. - If we sent proper notice, you may still request a refund within 7 days (Korean users) or 14 days (EU/UK users) of the renewal date. - After the applicable withdrawal period, a pro-rata refund as described in Section 3 is available.
If the Service becomes unavailable due to reasons attributable to the Company, the following compensation applies to paid subscribers, in accordance with the Content User Protection Guidelines: (a) Disruption of 10 hours or less per month: The subscription period will be extended by the duration of the disruption at no additional charge. (b) Disruption exceeding 10 hours per month: The subscription period will be extended by 10 hours plus twice the excess hours beyond 10 hours. (c) Disruption exceeding 72 hours per month: You may terminate the subscription and receive a full refund for the remaining subscription period, plus compensation for any damages incurred. This section does not apply to service interruptions caused by scheduled maintenance (with at least 24 hours' advance notice), force majeure events, or circumstances attributable to the user.
Once a refund is approved, we will initiate the refund process within 3 business days. Refund method: Refunds are processed to your original payment method through Paddle. For credit/debit card payments, we will promptly request the payment processor to cancel or reverse the charge. Processing time: While we initiate refunds within 3 business days, the actual time for the refund to appear in your account depends on your payment provider and may take additional time. Late refund penalty: If we fail to process a refund within the legally required period, we will pay delayed interest at an annual rate of 15% in accordance with the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce.
